8/10/2010 | CDS International welcomes two new team members to the firm
CDS International welcomes Anthony Deguzman and Tina Townsend to the firm.  Anthony will serve as a drafter and 3-D renderer for a variety of projects. Anthony received his AS degree from Honolulu Community College where he is a recent graduate. 

Tina is a licensed architect with 15 years of professional experience in residential, commercial and institution projects. Tina has worked for a variety of local and national design firms and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.

4/30/2009| Davin K. Kimoto is designated LEED® AP
CDS International is pleased to announce that Davin K. Kimoto has achieved the designation of LEED® Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute.  The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings.

4/24/2009 | North Kohala Public Library breaks ground

"The $7.8 million, 6,000 square foot North Kohala Public Library will replace Bond Memorial Public Library, a quaint 1,610 square foot Hawaiian-style building which has served the community of Kohala since January 1929. Construction of the North Kohala Public Library is expected to last about a year, and a grand opening is tentatively scheduled for 2010."

4/01/2009 | Designer joins CDS International
CDS International welcomes Morris Onishi to our team as a designer with 8 years of professional experience for an array of multi-family housing and retail projects.  Morris received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and is a LEED® Accredited Professional.

3/16/2009| Carol S. Sakata is designated LEED® AP

12/22/2008 | University of Hawaii's Frear Hall awarded LEED® Silver.
The University of Hawaii's Frear Hall, a 12-story student residence, is awarded LEED® Silver by the U.S. Green Building Council. Frear Hall is the first completed building at the University of Hawaii's 10-campus system to achieve the LEED® Silver rating and the largest LEED certified project in the state.

CDS International is pleased to announce the promotion of Davin K. Kimoto to Associate at CDS International. Davin has been with CDS International for 4 years and serves as project manager for educational and civic projects.

6/11/2008 | University of Hawaii's Frear Hall Ready to Open
Frear Hall, the first new dormitory in 30 years is ready to open at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa. The 810-person dorm gives the university the ability to perform much-needed repairs to existing dorms and meet the large demand for on-campus housing.
