COMMODORE CONDOMINIUM

The 115-unit, 16-story Commodore luxury residential complex is located on a two-acre site in Hawaii Kai. The project features ocean views with a large marina in the foreground, swimming pool, spas, tennis courts and barbecue/picnic facilities.

The Commodore features an energy efficient HVAC system, a first in Hawaiian condominium design when this project was designed in the late 1970's. The heat recovery system provides all hot water requirements for the apartment units, as well as for the swimming pool and whirlpools. This is accomplished by utilizing waste heat generated by the central air-conditioning system throughout the building.
